PASSING OF OUR FOUNDER, NILE CLARK

Dear valued client,

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our founder, father and grandfather, Nile Clark, who passed away on October 26, 2021 at his home, after battling cancer and congestive heart failure. He was 81 years old.

Nile prepared income taxes for 55 years, including this past tax season, where he worked up through the last day of the season. Nile began working for H&R Block out of college in Salt Lake City, and a year later moved to Boise where he owned 25 franchises from Mountain Home, Idaho to LaGrande, Oregon. After 25 years with H&R Block he left with five of his employees and opened Comprehensive Tax Service. When his daughter Kelly joined him in 1989, he left CTI and opened Nile Clark & Associates.

Nile always thought that no matter how much money you had or how simple or complex your taxes were, everyone deserved a knowledgeable preparer at a fair price, which is how he has always done business. Over the past 55 years, he has helped thousands and thousands of clients, all of whom he considered friends. Many of these clients have been with him for 50 or more years, and he will miss each and every one of them.

There will be a funeral service held at the LDS church at 5751 S Five Mile Road in Boise, on Friday, November 5th at 10am with a viewing at 9am. He will be interned at the Kuna Cemetery immediately following the service.

We appreciate your thoughts and prayers at this time and hope to see you all this upcoming tax season.

Sincerely,

Kelly Clark, Mallory Dearth and the staff at Nile Clark and Associates
